Workshop welcomed 17 lecturers, 22 health workers outside the faculty, 132 Pharmacy graduate and postgraduate students. The worshop honourably had Dr. PharmD. Le Minh Hung from Texas A&M University, United States as the speaker. Texas A&M opened its doors in 1876 as the state's first public institution of higher learning. Today, it stands as a research-intensive flagship university dedicated to sending talent leaders out into the world prepared to take on the challenges of tomorrow.
Dr. PharmD. Le Minh Hung presented 06 contents related to the treatment guidelines of some types of meningitis such as bacterial meningitis; brain abcess; viral meningitis; tubercular meningitis; meningitis in children; Staphylococcal meningitis and Haemophilus meningitis.
The workshop was successfully wrapped up after four days, providing and sharing knowledge to students, doctors, pharmacists of updating antibiotic use in treatment of central nervous system infection.
