Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), represented by Assoc.Prof. Pham Thi Tam, Vice Rector of CTUMP; the leaders of Scientific Research & International Relations office, CTUMP’s Hospital, Faculties of Medicine (including 04 related departments: Anaesthesia, Psychiatry, Imaging diagnosis, Oncology), Nursing & Medical Technology, Dentistry, Basic Sciences (department of Foreign Languages), and Testing Center welcomed the delegation.
Working
activities and outcomes:
1. Educational exchange was done in various fields: Anaesthesiology,
Psychiatry, Imaging diagnosis, Nuclear medicine, Operating room nursing,
Teaching methodology, Dentistry and Conversational English
2. Department of Anaesthesia and Testing Center successfully
held the training workshops in Obstetrics
anaesthesia and difficult airway management (42 participants) and Active
teaching method and problem based learning (30 participants) for doctors, nurses in Can Tho City and
nearby provinces; CTUMP lecturers and students.
3. Fruitful meetings were organized to discuss about: 1. Getting a consensus on the plan for
Pediatrics Surgery Delegation (PSD) in the week 23-28/10/2016; 2. Planning for
collaborative programs between CTUMP and MEET and University of Washington in
the year 2016 – 2017; 3. Introducing the Lifetrack System for the CTUMP Rector
board and Department of Imaging Diagnosis; and 4. Preparing for collaborations in
Physio-pathology, anatomy pathology and Oncology, between CTUMP and UW.
