Aalborg University is the 5th largest university in Denmark based on student enrollment, and is one of the top universities in the world and Europe in the field of ENGINEERING. Aalborg University provides education and research in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, engineering, and medical sciences. The delegation visited and held discussions on cooperation with the leaders of the School of Medicine and the School of Engineering & Science, Aalborg University.
On the side of the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Aalborg University: Prof. Dr. Michael Tolf Overgaard, Rector, along with Prof. Dr. Anders Olsen, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences, and several leading professors warmly welcomed the delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Prof. Nguyen Trung Kien presented a commemorative gift to Prof. Michael Tolf Overgaard, Rector of the Faculty of Engineering & Science, Aalborg University, Denmark.
On the side of the Faculty of Medicine, Aalborg University: Prof. Ole Kǽseler Andersen, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, along with Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, hosted the meeting with the delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Following the opening introductions, both sides had a lively exchange and discussion on the possibility of cooperation in the fields of biomedical engineering, sports medicine, and several specialized areas (exchange of lecturers and students, inviting visiting professors), coordinating the implementation of joint research projects, organizing professional conferences and workshops, and training lecturers for Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy through the ERASMUS+ project.

On this occasion, the delegation also had the opportunity to tour the modern facilities and equipment of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Engineering and Science at Aalborg University.
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien – Lecturer at Aalborg University, guided the delegation on a tour of the Faculty of Medicine, Aalborg University.
Prof. Nguyen Trung Kien – Rector, on behalf of the delegation, expressed gratitude to the leaders of the schools and lecturers for their warm welcome, and pledged to maintain connections with units of Aalborg University to soon implement collaborative projects after the visit.
