Representing AVIDE, Dr. Le Qui Vang – President of the Association – introduced Aalborg's development orientation and the Association's role in connecting Vietnamese experts and intellectuals in Denmark. The Association not only brings together highly qualified scientists but also serves as a network for sharing practical experiences, contributing to promoting cooperation between Vietnam and Europe. The working session focused on professional exchange, opportunities to access European funding, and innovative models linking universities and businesses.

On behalf of CTUMP, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Rector – expressed his gratitude to AVIDE and introduced Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, which has been designated by the Government as one of the five key universities in the health sciences sector in Vietnam and is a pioneer in implementing comprehensive autonomy since 2017. The university aims to strengthen scientific research, faculty training, and expand international cooperation with partners in Europe.
The two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation, such as inviting Vietnamese experts and intellectuals in Denmark to participate in teaching, co-supervising doctoral and master's students; thesis and dissertation evaluation committees; coordinating the implementation of scientific research projects, organizing professional conferences and workshops; and sharing experiences in applying for European research funding projects.
The highlight of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two sides, laying the foundation for cooperation in research, training, and international networking.
