DTU is one of the leading technical universities in Northern Europe and Europe, renowned for its multidisciplinary research in engineering, natural sciences, and medical technology. The working session took place at the IDUN (Intelligent Drug Delivery and Sensing Using Microcontainers and Nanomechanics) Research Center – a research center of excellence funded by the Danish National Research Fund and the Villum Foundation, within the Department of Drug Delivery and Sensing, School of Health Technology, Technical University of Denmark.
The delegation listened to and discussed areas of academic and research cooperation with Prof. Dr. Anja Boisen – Director of the Center, Dr. Maria Svendsmark Hansen – Scientific Coordinator, and several leading professors at the Center.

The two sides had an open exchange on potential cooperation in the following areas: applied research on biomedical sensors and smart medical devices; development of advanced drug delivery systems for clinical treatment; faculty and student exchange; Inviting guest lecturers; as well as coordinating the implementation of joint research projects and participating in international funding programs and projects.
Both sides exchanged and discussed opportunities for cooperation.
On this occasion, the delegation was also guided by Dr. Hau Van Nguyen – a researcher at the IDUN Center – on a tour of the Center's modern laboratory system, which houses advanced research equipment for the fabrication of microdevices, nanosensors, and testing of drug delivery systems.

Prof. Nguyen Trung Kien – Rector, on behalf of the delegation, thanked the leaders of the IDUN Center, the School of Health Technology, the Technical University of Denmark, and the scientists for their warm welcome. He also affirmed the determination to maintain and develop cooperative connections with the IDUN group, promoting the implementation of specific projects in the future to enhance the research and teaching capacity of lecturers and expand internship opportunities at DTU for lecturers and students of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
