Both sides spent time introducing an overview of CTUMP, as well as the JICA-CTU TC2 Project and other ongoing JICA projects. This is an important basis for both sides to better identify areas for connection and collaboration in the next phase.
The discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation in scientific research, human resource development, climate change adaptation, public health, community health, and opportunities for technical support from projects. From the initial exchanges, both sides agreed to continue promoting and clarifying the possibilities for cooperation between CTUMP and JICA; and to strengthen the connection between CTUMP and JICA and relevant institutions in Japan, thereby gradually expanding practical cooperation directions that align with the university's professional strengths and development needs.
