Yaroslavl State Medical University (YSMU) was founded in 1944. At present, YSMU is the big regional center of excellent quality medical education and bio-medical research. It is also the leader in medical training and post-graduate education, retraining of specialists of practical healthcare, medicine, pharmacy, and high skilled academic staff for the central regions of Russia.
Members from YSMU consisted of Prof. Chervyakova Yuriy Valentinovich - Department of Vascular Surgery; and Mr. Ha Hoai Nam, MSc, a PhD student of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia at Moscow.
Representatives of CTUMP: Dr. Nguyen Thi Diem, MD, PhD, Head of Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office; Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Van Lam, MD, PhD, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine; and lecturers and students of CTUMP having interests.
Prof. Chervyakova Yuriy Valentinovich has extensive experience in gene therapy. In this collaboration, he shared his valuable experience in new therapies: gene therapy for the treatment of lower limb arterial disease. This meeting was also a chance to share experience on the treatment of lower extremity anemia by atherosclerosis.
