During the welcoming session, representatives from both TMU and CTUMP introduced their respective institutions, covering their history, educational models, learning environments, and key activities. Students from both universities also had the opportunity to interact and share insights into the cultures and student life of their respective countries, fostering an open and friendly atmosphere from the very beginning of the program.

On the first day, CTUMP students were given a tour of the campus and TMU’s affiliated educational and research facilities. Additionally, meetings and interactions with TMU leadership, faculty, and students provided them with a deeper understanding of the educational model, learning environment, extracurricular activities, and student support services at one of Taiwan's leading medical universities.

A highlight of this year's program was the series of community service activities held from July 21 to July 23 in Taoyuan City. Over the course of three days, students from CTUMP and TMU engaged in various meaningful activities, such as environmental cleanup, raising awareness about safe medication use, organizing group games, and interacting with local schoolchildren.These activities not only helped spread messages regarding health and environmental protection but also demonstrated the roles and responsibilities of health science students toward the community.

Through these volunteer activities, students from CTUMP had the opportunity to apply their specialized knowledge in real-world settings, particularly in health education and communication. At the same time, they honed their teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills while enhancing their adaptability within international collaborative projects. Collaborating with TMU students on community initiatives also fostered friendship, mutual understanding, and a shared commitment to the social responsibilities expected of future healthcare professionals.

As part of the program, students were invited to visit Ko Da Pharmaceutical Company to learn about modern pharmaceutical research and manufacturing processes, as well as the collaborative model linking education, research, and industry in the pharmaceutical sector. This experience provided students with practical insights into the development of the pharmaceutical industry and helped shape their career orientations in an era of global integration.

In addition to academic and community service activities, CTUMP students participated in unique cultural experiences at several famous landmarks in Taiwan. These opportunities to explore local culture, history, and daily life not only helped students... ...not only helped students gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan and its people but also provided opportunities for interaction and sharing with international peers, thereby enhancing their communication skills and adaptability in a multicultural environment.
The program concluded with a friendly and open gathering where students from both institutions exchanged experiences and reflected on the program. Their time in Taiwan enabled students from CTUMP to broaden their professional knowledge and improve their international integration skills, while also fostering a spirit of volunteerism, a commitment to community service, and a sense of social responsibility—qualities essential for future healthcare professionals.
The 2026 student exchange program between CTUMP and TMU reaffirms the effectiveness of international cooperation in education; it contributes to a multicultural learning environment and creates conditions for CTUMP students to develop comprehensively in terms of knowledge, skills, and international integration capabilities.
