The delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, was led by Assoc. Prof. Jiruth Sriratanaban, M.D., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Director of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. The delegation also included Prof. Unnop Jaisamrarn, M.D., Senior Executive Advisor for International Affairs; Prof. Naricha Chirakalwasan, M.D., Vice Dean for International Affairs; Prof. Nattiya Hirankarn, M.D., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Postgraduate Education; Prof. Taninee Sahakitrungruang, M.D., Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Education; as well as staff responsible for the Faculty's international relations and academic programs.
The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Tan, M.D., Ph.D., Vice Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Director of the University Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Le Van Minh, M.D., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Assoc. Prof. Tran Thai Thanh Tam, M.D., Ph.D., Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; together with representatives of several departments under the Faculty of Medicine, faculty members who had previously studied at Chulalongkorn University, and representatives of relevant units.

During the working session, representatives of both sides gave an overview of their respective institution's history and development, organizational structure, strengths in education and scientific research, and strategic direction. Building on their shared mission of training health professionals and promoting community health, the two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation.
The discussions focused on scientific research collaboration and the implementation of joint projects; the co-organization of conferences, seminars, and training programs; exchanges of faculty members, researchers, and students; and enhanced sharing of professional expertise between the two institutions. These practical directions will help improve educational quality, research capacity, and international integration among faculty members, trainees, and students.
A highlight of the program was the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. The Memorandum provides a formal foundation for the two sides to develop and implement specific collaborative activities in the coming period, aligned with each institution's strengths and development needs.

Following the signing ceremony, representatives of both sides exchanged commemorative gifts, took group photographs, and toured the University campus and several practical training facilities. These activities gave the delegation a deeper understanding of the educational environment, facilities, and professional activities at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The visit and working session by the delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, marked an important milestone in the development of cooperation between the two institutions.
