THE NAMEPLATE PLACEMENT CEREMONY OF THE GATES, INTERNAL ROADS AND PARKS OF CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY CAMPUS, ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNIVERSITY’S ESTABLISHMENT DAY (25/12/2020).

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, there were PhD. NGUYEN Minh Phuong – President of the University Council, Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. It was honored to welcome lieutenant colonel HO Quang Dung – Deputy Director of the April 30^th Police Hospital, with lecturers in the Standing Committee of the Party, Trade Union, Youth Union and leaders of Faculties, Departments, Centers and Units together with new students of class 46 in full time program and class 34 in brigde program. 

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy said: “With the policy of continuous development, continuous improvement, the core value is defined as “Responsibility, quality, development, integration”. Therefore, in 2020, the University will complete the programs and register for quality accreditation for 8 full time programs. This is a great effort of all lecturers, officers of the University, demonstrating the assurance to improve the quality and responsibility for development and integration”. “Today, we are proud of the existence of a spacious, modern, green – clean – beautiful University which is voted as the most popular University in Vietnam” he said. 

Following the 18^th anniversary of the University’s establishment (December 25^th, 2002 - December 25^th, 2020) was the ceremony of attaching the nameplates to the gates, the internal roads and the park including 3 locations. The first place was the main gate. Attaching the main gate’s nameplate; Cuu Long street’s nameplate and Cam Thi Park by the delegation included PhD. NGUYEN Minh Phuong, Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien with staffs and students. 

The next location was from the staff gate. Attaching the nameplate of Cua Dai - Cua Tieu gate; nameplates of Thap Muoi, Rach Gam and Xoai Mut streets; Hoa Binh park by the delegation included Assoc. Prof. PhD DAM Van Cuong, MSc. NGUYEN Van Tam with staffs and students. 

And finally, the nameplate of Ham Luong gate, the nameplates of Ham Luong street, Truong Sa, Hoang Sa, park of December 25 would be attached from gate C, by Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Van Lam; Level 2 Specialist MD. LAI Van Nong with staffs and students. 

The nameplates are vital to create favorable conditions for staffs, lecturers, officers, students and visitors to move and capture information, create the University culture itself. From there, contributing to a good settlement for internal traffic management and beautifying the landscape.
