From 28th to 30th September 2019, Faculty of Pharmacy from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy hold the workshop with topic “Guide to read and interpret an antibiogram and treatment of severe infections” at Pharmacy Faculty Hall.
From 03/09/2019 to 07/09/2019, the delegation of Vietnamese juveniles participated in the third ASEAN University Student Council Union (AUSCU) which was held in Bangkok, Thailand. One of the delegate is Pham Dac Phu who is a student from class medicine E, course 42 of Can Tho University of Medicines and Pharmacy. After being chosen to be a delegate for the second conference in Singapore last year, student Pham Dac Phu continued to coordinate this year’s conference as coordinator of country.
From August 11th to August 16th 2019, 05 students from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) including Pham Dac Phu from Medicine class E – course 42, Nguyen Hoang Phuc from Medicine class D – course 42, Huynh Nhat Duy from Medicine class M - course 43, Le Trong Nghia from Medicine class B – course 41 and Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Thao from Pharmacy class – course 41 attended a summer course at AHMAD DAHLAN University (UAD) on: “Moving from passive to experiential learning”.
On September 4th 2019, WEAV organization associated with Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office – Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy to organize WEAV’s Scholarship awards program for the university’s damsels.
On June 17th to July 18th 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) welcomed a delegation including 7 students majoring in Physiotherapy and 2 clinical educators from Griffith University to have an internship at CTUMP.
From 15 to 20 April, 2019, in the framework of international cooperation activities, Nursing – Medical Engineering Faculty from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) had welcomed Mr. Marc Dhaeze from the University College Ghent (HoGent) to have a working visit to CTUMP.
On the 20th and 21st of May, 2019, there was a visit from the Delegation of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Indonesia, to the Faculty of Pharmacy , Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
On Friday, May 24th, 2019, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy presided over the 2nd workshop on "Sharing experiences in writing and publishing an international article" lasting two days (May 24th-25th) for University’s lecturers and postgraduate students who interested in international publishing.
On 17th May 2019, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology cooperated with Viet Dang company to organize a seminar named “Meta Endo Tour 2019: the perfect solution in endodontic treatment” at Ninh Kieu Riverside Restaurant, with the attendance of the rapporteur Dr. Jenner O. Argueta from Guatemala to serve the purpose of updating professional knowledge of endodontics and teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
On Thursday, May 30th, 2019, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy presided over the 3rd workshop on "Sharing experiences in writing and publishing an international article" for 180 postgraduate students who are studying at University.
On May 22th, 2019, aimed at updating new knowledge in the field of Odontology, Odonto-stomatology Department of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy cooperated with MVA CORP Company Limited in organizing “Straight-T Scientific Seminar – Invisalign Technology and Laser Application in the Dental Field”.
As part of the second collaboration event between Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) and Volunteers Around the World Organization (VAW), United States, the “Mobile Clinic” program was once again held from May 30th to June 6th, 2019 at Binh Thuy District and Co Do District in Can Tho City. The program was attended by Doctors from the Department of Internal Medicine of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 16 student volunteers from the United States, organizers and student volunteers from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
On May 15th, 2019, there were an event of welcoming Physiotherapy students delegation from University of South Australia (UniSA) to attend a short term cousre in Can Tho Universty of Medicine and Pharmacy persisting 4 weeks. There were 11 members on the delegation comprising of 1 consulant lecturer and 10 Physiotherapy final-year students. Beside that, to supply the best assistance for the delegation, Mr. TRAM Van Nhieu – Lecturer in Rehabilitation training Department, Faculty of Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, took the responsibility on supporting professional knowledge for students as well as actively exchanged specialities with Australian lecturer.
From June 24th to June 27th in 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) had a meeting and received the delegations including 09 students and 01 lecturer come from Charles Stuart University (CSU) – Australia with the purpose of studying and practice about “Psychological Health Care” at Psychiatry Department of CTUMP and Inpatient Treatment Department of Can Tho Psychiatric Hospital.
From July 1st to July 5th 2019, Australian Catholic University (ACU) consisted of 19 students who had a meaningful study tour at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
