From July 2nd to July 12th 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) welcomed a delegation from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia coming to visit and cooperate with CTUMP. The delegation consisted of 13 members, among whom there were 2 lecturers and 11 students.
For the purpose of sharing experiences of seeking scholarships for studying abroad and opportunities for teachers and students. Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) organized a workshop with the topic "Sharing Study Experience For CTUMPers 2019" on July 16th, 2019 at the Lecture room 2 of Pharmacy Faculty.
On 19th July 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy successfully held the graduation ceremony for doctors, pharmacists, and bachelors.
On three days from 7th to 9th August 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy held meetings and visits for universities and institutions - members of the HEP project phase 2 with the aim to learn and to develop the models of linking universities between the UK and Vietnam through exchange programs and workshops at the two countries.
The international publication is important for individual scientists and one of the crucial criteria for university evaluation and ranking. The article published in international scientific journals will confirm the quality of the research, a measure of research capacity, and the integration ability of officials and lecturers. The number of published articles, the number of citations of the articles is one of the criteria for university evaluation and ranking.
On July 13rd, 2019, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, organized a training class about translation skills for collaborators of International Cooperation team. Training class was aimed to enhance the effectiveness of collaborators’ activities in supporting Department with assignments related to translation.
From July 23rd to July 24th 2019, the delegation of Queensland University of Technology, Australia (QUT) represented by Prof. Danielle Gallegos and Dr. Helen Vidgen paid a working visit to Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP). Welcoming the delegation, there were staff and lecturers from the Faculty of Public Health with the participation of guests from Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Scientific Research & International Cooperation Office and members of Can Tho Sub-department of Food Hygiene and Safety.
From July 5th to July 11th in 2019, dental students, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. TRUONG Nhut Khue and Dr. DO Thi Thao visited Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University and participated in The 17th International Scientific Conference of the Dental Faculty Consortium of Thailand in 2019 (DFCT) in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
From 29-March to 01-April, 2019, Faculty of Pharmacy hold the “Antibiotics in treatment of central nervous system infection” workshop at Odonto-Stomatology-Pharmacy Hall.
